RONAN — On the weekend of April 27 and 28, sleep in a little late ... or get up a little early and let the Ronan Volunteer Fire Department make you breakfast.

Or brunch.

Or even lunch.

On Saturday and Sunday, April 27-28, the Ronan firemen will host their annual pancake feed at the Ronan Community Center. A pancake breakfast hot off the griddle will be served from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

And it’s not just about those delicious, fluffy, steaming hotcakes, either. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, sausage and gravy over biscuits, and waffles will be dished out to young and old. Coffee and orange juice will also be served.

Tickets are $5 per person or $20 per family. Additional donations are welcome, too. The fire department uses the event as an annual fundraiser to outfit and upgrade fire department resources.

Businesses and organizations are encouraged to purchase a block of tickets in advance for their employees and families. Special seating arrangements can also be arranged for groups.

Tickets will be available at the door, or you can purchase individual or a group of tickets from any Ronan firefighter or by calling (406) 676-4235.

So, put on those loose-fitting pair of pants and come do your best to fill them out at a weekend full of pancake feeding frenzy that will benefit the local fire department.
