Five Ronan-St. Ignatius track and field athletes were invited to compete in the Top Ten meet Tuesday at Missoula’s Big Sky High School: Aspen Jore, javelin; Stephanie Lewandowski, 100 hurdles; Jalen Bell, long jump and triple jump; Paden Alexander, 3,200 and 1,600 meters; and Lucas Gerhardt, javelin.
RSI athletes continue to rack up wins and personal bests, with Mission senior Paden Alexander taking second in both the 1,600 and 3,200-meter runs in Kalispell April 16, and then moving on to win both events at the Frenchtown meet Saturday. Alexander’s times at Frenchtown broke both the St. Ignatius school records he set last year.
The RSI girls’ 400-meter relay team also won their races at both meets last week.
