RONAN — This holiday season warm up your festive feelings with local Christmas entertainment.

The Ronan School Music Department started practicing for their Christmas programs this week and will be presenting numerous concerts for the community’s enjoyment in the Ronan Performing Arts Center over the holiday season.

The season begins with the Annual Mission Valley Choral Christmas Festival on Tuesday, Dec. 14. The yearly concert includes high school choral groups from St. Ignatius, Ronan, Charlo and Thompson Falls.

The four schools will rehearse together all day before the mass concert begins at 6:30 p.m.

Ronan Chorus Teacher Cathy Gillhouse said that the chorus will perform a beautiful rendition of ‘We Wish you a Merry Christmas.” She highlighted other holiday tunes to be performed such as “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and “One Bright Star.”

The Ronan Middle School Choir will perform a holiday concert on Thursday, Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. and the middle and high school bands will perform at 7:30 p.m.

K. William Harvey’s Christmas pageant will be on Monday, Dec. 20th beginning with third and fourth grades at 9 a.m.

The 5th-graders will perform at 10:30 a.m., and grades one and two will perform at 12:30 p.m.

Pablo Elementary School will perform their Christmas pageant at 9 a.m. in Pablo.
