POLSON — A cancer support group for cancer patients, cancer survivors and caregivers now meets twice a month on the second and fourth Mondays at the United Methodist Church, 301 16th Ave. E.
The group, which has existed since 2008, meets from noon to 1 p.m. Participants can either bring lunch or join members at a local restaurant following the meeting. This is an informal gathering sponsored by Cheerful Heart, Inc. to discuss anything related to cancer, either as a patient or a caregiver.
Cheerful Heart, Inc. is a local non-profit that provides non-medical services for Lake County cancer patients.
