ST. IGNATIUS —The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center has finished its kitchen improvement program thanks to support and donations from Blackfoot Telecommunications, the Washington Foundation, Lutheran Thrivent, the Area Six Agency on Aging, British Petroleum and many local people who donated and/or took part in fundraising activities.
The center will again be the site of the Good Old Days Breakfast on Saturday, July 20. The breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. and continue to 11 a.m. Eggs, sausages, pancakes, orange juice and coffee will be served. The cost is $5 per person. Bingo will be played in the center from 2-4 p.m. that day.
Activities scheduled for July:
Note that evening meals are the third and fifth Wednesdays this month only. Ayleen’s Quilters quilt in the center most Thursdays.
• Thursday, July 11: quilters
• Friday, July 12: baked chicken and birthday cake lunch
• Tuesday, July 16: Reuben pastrami lunch
• Wednesday, July 17: ham dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Thursday, July 18: quilters
• Friday, July 19: chef salad lunch
• Saturday, July 20: Good Old Days Breakfast, 7–11 a.m.
• Tuesday, July 23: French dip lunch
• Thursday, July 25: quilters
• Friday, July 26: spaghetti lunch
• Tuesday, July 30: pork stir-fry lunch
• Wednesday, July 31: fried chicken dinner, 5:30 p.m.
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
