LIBBY — Rosemary T. Hibbs, 77, of Libby, died Friday July 5, 2013, at the Libby Care Center from natural causes. Rosemary was born June 29, 1936, in River Falls, Wis., to Clarence and Edith Cernohous.
On Aug. 19, 1967, Rosemary married the love of her life Carl L. Hibbs in Boulder, Mont. Throughout their lives Rosemary and Carl made their home in several areas of the northwest and western Montana and finally settled amongst the majestic Mission Mountains of the Ronan Valley. Rosemary was a homemaker and Carl worked in the mines. Rosemary and Carl were inseparable and did everything together. Rosemary enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, woodworking, gardening, country music, western movies and square dancing. She will be missed immensely.
A brother Virgil Cernohous and husband Carl L. Hibbs preceded her in death. Carl passed away on Jan. 11, 2011. Happy trails to you as you begin a new adventure with Carl.
Survivors include a brother Cyril Cernohous (Pat); children Allen Hibbs, John Hibbs, Julie Held, and Carleene Reeder; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date. Local arrangements are by Schnackenberg and Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.
