RONAN — Is it hot enough for you, yet? I sure hope it cools down some, as I don’t do well in the heat. With fire season off to a good start, we could sure use some rain.
There were 18 people here to play cards on July 15. Sharon Guenzler had the high score, Mary Howell had the low score, Deanna Balfour had the most pinochles and Grace Ingraham won the door prize. Rose McBurney and Grace Ingraham provided lunch. Cards will be played here again on Aug. 18.
Our get-well wishes go to Darlene Salomon. We hope she is up and about soon. Sure hope you didn’t spill your huckleberries.
Thanks to all who donated to, bought from and helped run our sale during “Crazy Days”. We appreciate your help.
We are having a “bring a friend to lunch” day this Wednesday, July 24, and will serve barbecue meatballs.
This Friday, July, 26, is our monthly birthday dinner at noon. We will serve a great roast beef dinner and I’m sure the band will be here to play music.
Menu for the rest of the month is:
• Wednesday, July 24: barbecue meatballs
• Friday, July 26: roast beef
• Monday, July 29: potato bar
• Wednesday, July 31: baked fish
