News from Salish Kootenai College

PABLO — The Medical Office Clerk Certificate program at Salish Kootenai College has added an Electronic Health Records course to its one-year curriculum. The 46-credit curriculum became effective this fall, and includes a two-credit Electronic Health Records course offered during the spring quarter. The EHR course is an additional course to four other medical office courses required to complete the certificate.

Students completing the Medical Office Clerk Certificate will be prepared for office positions in Tribal Health, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. These positions are expected to increase both in Montana and nationally.

To enroll in the Medical Office Clerk Certificate, contact Raelyn DuMontier for admissions at (406) 275-4855; Jackie Swain for financial aid at (406) 275-4859, Nancy Nelson for advising at nancy_nelson@skc.edu or call (406) 275-4940.
