Mark A. McCarthy
POLSON – Mark A. McCarthy, also known as “Mick” or “Crash”, 54, of Polson, passed away on Monday, Sept. 13, at St. Joseph Medical Center after a long battle with cancer.
Born Aug. 15, 1956 in Scranton, Penn., to Joseph and Emily McCarthy, Mick was very laid back and loved to party. He once played a game of pool with Willie Nelson after buying him a shot of Jack Daniels.
Mick is survived by his daughter, Tara, grandson, Ronson, and a son, Joseph, all of Ronan; a sister, Pat Gillespie and her husband John of Scranton, Pa.; a brother, Joseph McCarthy; a very special Aunt Birdie and uncle Eddie Goodfield, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
