Ronan High School Forensics and Drama had a strong showing at its first meet of the season. With several team members unable to compete due to football and cross-country, the team was small. Overall, Ronan placed third in speech sweepstakes and second in drama sweepstakes. Ryan Dresen took first and Samantha Friedlander took fourth in Humorous Oral Interpretation of Literature. Bradly Findly took first in Humorous Solo Acting, and Bria Waldron took eighth in Expository Speaking.
The next meet will be Nov. 2 in Columbia Falls, and the following weekend the team will compete at the Corvallis 2-Day Invitational meet.
