St. Ignatius center seeks cook, activities director

ST. IGNATIUS —The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center is looking for a cook after the recent announcement by one of the cooks that she will be retiring at the end of the year. Anyone interested in the position is asked to contact Patty Krantz at the center by calling (406) 745-4462 or by stopping by the center on Tuesdays or Fridays. The position is part-time. Also, the center is seeking a volunteer activities director.
Blackfoot Telecommunications is again helping defray the cost of the annual St. Ignatius Senior Citizens’ Center Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to participate in all meals at the center.
The center is also planning to raffle a Christmas basket in December. Donated items to put in the basket are welcome.
The following are the activities in the center for the rest of November:
Lunches begin at noon.
Quilters quilt in the center most Mondays and Thursdays.
• Wednesday, Nov. 20: Thanksgiving dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 21: quilters
• Friday, Nov. 22: salmon loaf lunch
• Tuesday, Nov. 26: barbecue pork lunch
• Friday, Nov. 29: closed for holiday
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
