POLSON — Cooler weather and lots of hot cars helped make the 2010 Cruisen By the Bay Car Show a good time.

“There were 184 cars plus 21 of our own cars,” Mike Lee, Mission Valley Cruisers car show manager, said. “We’re really happy with that.”

This year was the first year the show included motorcycles, and four exhibitors brought bikes.

A contractual issue with Hot Rod Deluxe prevented the Spokane band from performing in Riverfront Park on Aug. 7 from 7:30 to 10 p.m., but “Heavy T,” a blues band, filled in on a day’s notice.
