POLSON — Certified In-Person Assisters who have been trained by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to provide free public education and enrollment assistance for the Healthcare Insurance Marketplace will be available to answer your questions at the followed Polson locations: Thursday, Dec. 13 and Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Lake County Health Department conference room, 802 Main Street, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 14, at the St. Joseph Medical Center Enrollment Fair, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16; the North Lake County Public Library meeting room from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. In addition, Assisters are available to come and talk with your community group, neighborhood organization, church group, or at an activity that you think would be a good place for people to receive this information. Call (406) 540-1177 and we will schedule a time that works for you. Health insurance offered by the ACA begins on Jan. 1, 2014, but open enrollment will take place throughout 2014.
