Tough week for Chiefs basketball

RONAN – The Chiefs dropped a couple of games in the week leading up to winter break. 

On Friday the Chiefs had a tough one out, falling to Florence 28-47 on their home court. Colton McCrea led the Chiefs with seven points followed by Bryce Cullen and Jeremiah North Piegan, who each put up six. 

Saturday brought the Eureka Lions to Ronan with the Chiefs narrowly falling to the Lions in the 57-58 game leaving the fans rising from their seats. Ronan’s Tim Woll led the Chiefs in points with 12 while Alex Quesquesah netted 11 hitting three out of four attempted three pointers. 

The Chiefs will return from break to play the Pirates in Polson on Jan. 3 and then host Loyola on Jan. 6.
