Marguerite Gordon
POLSON — Marguerite Winona Gordon passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2013, at St. Luke Nursing Home in Ronan, at the age of 93. Marguerite was born in Seattle, Wash., on April 29, 1920.
She and her mother, Emily, moved to Juneau, Alaska, in the 1930s where she graduated from high school. She met her husband Robert at the local ice cream parlor and often remarked how all the kids that came after, would never have happened, without that chance encounter. Marguerite and Robert were married for over 60 years.
Her son Robert D. Gordon of Winnemucca, Nev.; and daughter Judith Langdale of Polson, survive her. Her family includes nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren. Her parents James and Emily Espey, her loving husband Robert A. Gordon and grandson Keith Gordon all precede her in death.
All who knew her will remember her as a kind, loving person with a positive approach to life. She will truly be missed.
