POLSON – The Pirates are fighting young team jitters while searching for a win after winter break. On Tuesday the Pirates faced a tough game at home as they fell to Kalispell Glacier, 42-74. Andrew Weltz led the Pirates with double digits, scoring 23 points.
Thursday brought the Pirates to Columbia Falls with Polson taking the 53-74 loss. Weltz netted 16 and Cedrick Smith added an extra 11.
Polson will continue their fight in front of local fans as they host Corvallis Tuesday, Jan. 14 and Libby Saturday, Jan. 18.
