ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens’ Center elected board members and officers during its annual meeting Jan 14. Newly elected to the board is Lorraine Courville, replacing Ruth Krantz, who served on the board for many years. Reelected to the board are Peg Johnson and Kay Kelly. Following the annual meeting, the board elected officers. Elected president is Marion Sands. She replaces Johnson in that position. Johnson served for several years as president. Reelected to their offices are Vice President Mack McConnell, Treasurer Mary Bick and Secretary Lyla Faye Krantz. 

Commodities will be disbursed at the center on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 3 -4 p.m. and on Wednesday, Jan. 22, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Ruth Krantz, who is in charge of the disbursal, said plastic grocery bags are needed for the operation and she would appreciate any bags donated. She also expressed thanks for those who launder the center’s dishrags and towels.

Activities in the center for the rest of January: 

Lunches begin at 12-noon. 

Quilters quilt in the center most Mondays and Thursdays.

• Wednesday, Jan. 22: commodities disbursal, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

• Thursday, Jan. 23: quilters

• Friday, Jan. 24: beef hash lunch

• Monday, Jan. 27: quilters

• Tuesday, Jan. 28: meatloaf lunch

• Wednesday, Jan. 29: ham and scalloped potatoes dinner, 5:30 p.m.

• Thursday, Jan. 30: quilters

• Friday, Jan. 31: apple sage pork lunch

Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
