TROY – Weather played havoc for valley teams once again as the Ronan Chiefs had to cancel a contest with Deer Lodge on Thursday due to extreme temperatures and snow.
At Troy on Saturday, the Chiefs led going into halftime but after a crushing third quarter brought on by the Trojans, the Chiefs came away with a 53-63 loss. Cedric Earthboy led his team with 21 points while Kollin Wroblewski added an extra 10.
The Chiefs’ current win/loss record is 4-10, with three of the wins coming on their home court.
The Chiefs host Columbia Falls Feb. 13 and then head out to Mission Feb. 14 to play their last regular season game.
