Maidens pick up divisional win
HAMILTON – The Maidens finished out their first Class B Divisional Tournament with a win and two losses — not bad for a first showing. Thursday the Maidens tipped-off against Bigfork, falling to the Valkyries 37-51. Aspen Jore top-scored for the Maidens, netting six points.
On Friday in a loser-out game, the Maidens came back to take control of game two and hold it until the end. Ronan sent Thompson Falls packing in the 56-45 game. Raymi Clairmont paced the Maidens outing up 11 points while Kendra Starkel added nine.
In their final game of the season, the Maidens couldn’t find the spark and fell to Plains 39-56. Jore led her pack with 12 points.
The Maidens will finish at 500, ending their season at 12-12.
