POLSON — A three-vehicle wreck at the foot of Jette hill north of Polson closed traffic for an hour and a half on Feb. 25, but no one was seriously injured.
At about 9:26 a.m. a male driver in a 1999 Subaru sedan, headed north on U.S. Highway 93, was waiting to make a left-hand turn onto Partridge Trail. A male driver in a northbound 2004 white Ford Crown Victoria, ran into the back of the Subaru, pushing it into the ditch on the right hand side of the road. The impact caused the Crown Victoria to rotate counterclockwise and end up broadside in the southbound lane of Hwy. 93.
A male driver in a 2013 Chevy Silverado pulling a trailer loaded with pipe collided with the Crown Vic.
“Seatbelts were worn. That’s a huge factor in everybody living in this crash,” said Highway Patrol Trooper Terry Rosenbaum.
