POLSON — I will cease commenting on the weather; anymore it’s a non-event. What-ever comes, we’re all in the same boat. Boats? I hope it doesn’t come to that. It’s still better than being in separate bathtubs.

Our tax preparers will be in Polson on Thursdays only, from now on. Call for an appointment.

The AARP driving classes will resume on April 22. They begin at 9 a.m., break for lunch and finish after. Come before 9 and be ready by class time. Call to be added to the list.

Here’s one more call for help. We transport our aluminum cans to Missoula occasionally and would appreciate the use of someone’s cargo trailer or small horse trailer. Thanks to all who have been dropping off their cans at the center.

We’ve been having a pretty good turnout at our Friday night bingo. Games begin at 7 p.m. Come join the fun.

The same can be said for our exercise group that meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. So, if you want to exercise, (more than your options), join in.

The hearing aid representative will be here on March 25 from 9-11 a.m.

Thank you to Jo Durand who has stepped in to cook while Wanda is out with a knee problem. Wanda should be back by Thursday, March 20, to prepare the pork cutlets, rice, rolls and green beans.

The menu for the following four days is:

•  Friday, March 21: homemade pizza

•  Monday, March 24: vegetable beef soup

•  Tuesday, March 25: hot turkey sandwich

•  Wednesday, March 26: soft shell tacos

The Tuesday afternoon senior bowling league scores for: high scratch - Ray Theiler 750; for high handicap series - Ray Theiler 858 and Sharon Adamson 748; for high games - Keith Ross 777, Ray Theiler 367, Larry Lawin 225, Jim Funke 221, Don Young 220, Cris Alter 217, Jack Adamson 210, Sharon Adamson 209, and Roger Rasmussen 209.
