POLSON — Howdy, howdy, howdy. My name is Gertie (Cathy Corrigan) and I’m from Booger Bottoms. I’m Otis’s cousin twice removed and I’m here to fill in for him ‘till he gits back from seeing the relatives in NorDkota and Minnysota.

The lunch menu beginning on April 10 is:

•  Thursday. April 10: barbecue sandwich

•  Friday, April 11: hamburger gravy over whipped potatoes

•  Monday, April 14: shepherd’s pie

•  Tuesday, April 15: soft shell taco

•  Wednesday, April 15: sausage gravy over biscuits

We are winding down on this year’s tax season and I’m sure there are still a few of you that haven’t gotten yours done. We are still taking appointments and will do our best to work with you on times and days. So, give us a call at (406) 883-4735 and we’ll make you an appointment. You don’t want them revenuers to come a knockin’ on your door so git it done.

We still have some openings for the AARP Driving Class. If you are in need of this service, give us a call here at the center and we’ll get you on the list.

Ole cousin Otis took me to the center to play some bingo. They sure do have a good time and you can even win some good ole green backs if yore numbers git called. So come on down and have some fun and join me and cousin Otis when he gits back from seeing the relatives.  They open the doors at 6:30 p.m. and they start callin’ the numbers at 7 p.m.

Our exercise group meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 am.

Don’t forgit that the nice lady will be here to clip yore toenails on April 9 from 10:30 a.m.-noon and the Veteran Representative will be here that same day for any veteran that might need a question answered or anything else. She is here from 1-3 p.m.

Bridge scores for March 28: Dee Adams was first and Doris Gorsuch came in second.

The Tuesday afternoon senior bowling league scores are going to have to wait until next week when their reporter can git them to cousin Otis for this here paper.

It sure was fun visitin’ with all of you but Cousin Otis will be back here next week. So if you ever git to good Ole Booger Bottoms be sure to look ole Gertie up and I’ll show you a real good time. See ya.
