POLSON — DJ Pretty On Top rolled a perfect 300 game at the Sportspage bowling center on Wednesday, March 19.
This is an incredible feat as DJ has only been bowling in a league for four years. The 300 was achieved on the first game of the night and was followed by a 193 and a 217 for a 710 series, his first ever 700 series.
After his eighth strike in a row, DJ quit looking at the monitor.
“At the start of the 10th frame, everyone stopped their games to watch me, and that made me very nervous because the house was dead silent except for the now blaring radio,” DJ said. “After the 11th strike, I had to calm myself down, and that may have been what got me to stop shaking long enough to throw the 12th strike.”
DJ currently bowls on the Wednesday Night Mixed League with his wife Stacie Pretty On Top, Bev Michel and Shane Bird. DJ gives thanks to his bowling family and friends that have always been supportive and have helped him get to a 192 average this year. It is easy to support DJ as he is one of the friendliest bowlers to have in the house.
