POLSON — The real author of the newsletter turns out to be that rascal, Dave. As suggested earlier, a fresh donut brought him out.
I made it to Minne-snow-ta and back in good shape. It was a nice break, seeing all the family. I thought I was joking but the joke was on me. I brushed 10 inches of snow off of the car one morning.
I did, however, make it across Nordakota OK. Oh, by the way, the mountain removal project there is now complete.
On the trip, I stopped to help a motorist about twenty miles this side of Bismarck. Turns out he didn’t need help; he’d gotten out to check on a tire and accidentally locked himself out of his car. He had to break a window to get his wife and kids out.

The AARP driving class will be held on Tuesday, April 22, from 9 a.m.–2:30 p.m. with a break for lunch. Call for a seat.
The exercise group meet meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:30–11:30 a.m.
The senior bowling league has finished for the season with Don Young nailing the high men’s series with a 610. Cris Alter had the high women’s series with a 633, (not surprising). Larry Lawin had high men’s handicap series with a 680. Sharon Adamson captured the women’s handicap series with 672. High game honors went to Larry Lawin, who rolled a 252. Larry and Cindy hosted a season-end potluck dinner. Fine hosts.
The secret to enjoying a fine bottle of wine is to first open the bottle and allow it to breathe. If it doesn’t look like it’s breathing, give it mouth-to-mouth.
