POLSON — Happy Easter! The bunnies, chicks, candy and colored eggs make it all fun but, of course, you know it’s not really about them. Hope you all had a very happy Easter.
Last week there was a power outage on our block. My computer was down, of course, and my laptop battery needed a charge. Ditto with the cell phone. I wandered into the kitchen to brew some coffee, then remembered I couldn’t do that either. I sat down and talked with my wife for a couple of hours. She seems like a nice person.
The lunch menu for the coming week is:
• Thursday, April 24: Polish dogs
• Friday, April 25: birthday lunch featuring turkey, dressing and cake
• Monday, April 28: goulash
• Tuesday, April 29: baked chicken
• Wednesday, April 30: ham salad sandwich
The hearing aid clinic will be on April 29 from 9–11 a.m.
This year thousands of men will die from stubbornness. No we won’t!
