RONAN — On Saturday, May 3, the Community of Ronan and the Ronan Area Chamber will hold its Annual Spring Cleaning Day. Meet at 9 a.m. at City Park to pick up garbage bags and gloves and a hot cup of coffee to get you going. There will be a construction size box dumpster donated by Republic Services available to drop off approved trash items and full trash bags. It will be located at City Park near the Fire Hall.
The dumpster cannot handle kitchen trash, large appliance, tires or hazardous materials. If you have any of these items or other waste, call Ronan City and they will pick up larger items like washers, refrigerators, batteries, yard debris, old paint, junk and even old vehicles at your home. They cannot pick up any electronics. Just call City Hall at (406) 676-4231 or Ellen at (406) 676-8666 by May 3 to schedule a pick up at your home or location or if you have any questions.
The Ronan Chamber will provide the dumpster, trash bags, rubber gloves, coffee and donuts.
Ronan’s Cleanup Day’s success is due in large part to the people and organizations that donate their time, equipment and manpower. The Ronan Area Chamber of Commerce would like to thank Republic Services for once again providing the dumpster and the City of Ronan for providing the pickup service, also many thanks to Community Bank and Dobson Creek Coffee for providing the important coffee and donuts.
