News From the Friends of the Ronan Library

RONAN — Our second Montana author is coming to the Ronan Library on Thursday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m. We are very excited to have her here for the first time.

Leslie Budewitz writes The Food Lovers’ Village Mysteries, set in Jewel Bay, Montana. The books feature Erin Murphy, proprietor of The Merc, a regional foods market in her family’s century-old former grocery. Erin’s passion for pasta, retail, and huckleberry chocolates leads to a talent for solving murder. Recipes are included.

Her first novel is “Death Al Dente” and is nominated for the 2013 Agatha Award for Best First Novel. The book is available for check out at the library now. Her second book, “Crime Rib,” will be coming out in July. We hope you will join as at the library on May 8 to welcome Leslie to the Ronan Library.
