ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens’ Center will host AARP’s driving education course on Monday, May 12, at 9 a.m. The four-hour course is oriented toward aging drivers but is open to everyone. Montana law mandates an insurance rate discount for those who have taken the course. The class costs $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers. Those wishing to sign up for the class may do so by stopping by or calling the center.
Bankers Life Insurance Company will conduct an informational session in the center on the evening of Wednesday, May 21. Financial issues and aging will be topics of the session.
Activities at the center for May:
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
Lunches begin at noon.
Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
Wednesday, May 7: roast beef dinner and silent auction, 5:30 p.m.
Friday, May 9: barbecue chicken and birthday cake lunch
Monday, May 12 AARP drivers education course
Tuesday, May 13: baked potato bar lunch
Friday, May: 16 fish loaf lunch
Tuesday, May 20: soup and sandwiches lunch
Wednesday, May 21: pork tenderloin dinner, 5:30 p.m. and Bankers Life financial aging information session following dinner
Friday, May 23: taco salad lunch
Tuesday, May 27: stir fry lunch
Friday, May 30: meatloaf lunch
