RONAN – MAC softball is on fire and the Lady Bulldogs are not letting anybody squeak by their fury on the diamond.
On Thursday the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Ronan to take on their valley rivals after an earlier loss to them in the season. While putting the past in the past the Lady Bulldogs overcame the Maidens 11-9 after a triumphant nine runs posted in the third. The big blow came from Lady Bulldog Shania Dubois as she blasted one over the fence with loaded bases, recording a giant grand slam. Emilie Charlo also went long with a homerun and a couple of RBIs.
Saturday the Lady Bulldogs shut down the Lady Wardens 16-0 in Deer Lodge with MAC pitcher Courtney Charlo throwing a complete no hitter. Homeruns were being tossed around like confetti as Jordyn Eichert smacked two and Morgan Malatare added another. Both also added four runs to the scoreboard.
The Lady Bulldogs will host Loyola-Sacred Heart May 15 and a double-header against Eureka in Mission May 17.
