News from Big Productions/Cantlon Family Youth Home
LAKE COUNTY — Big Productions and the Cantlon Family Youth Home would like to sincerely thank all of the sponsors who supported the 2013-2014 Big Productions Performing Arts Series: Access Montana, Anderson Broadcasting, Don Aadsen Ford, Dr. Jim and Cindy Willis, H&R Block of Polson and Ronan, Polson Super 1 Foods and Ronan Harvest Foods; as well as the individual concert co-sponsors: Bill Barron, Bishop Insurance, Bob and Betty Moore, Dennis and Jan Wolfe, Mission Bay Realty, Mission Valley Physical Therapy, and Ronan Les Schwab Tire Center. The concert series would not be possible without their dedication and support of the arts.
This year marked the 26th season of Big Productions and with the passing of long time Youth Home Director and Founder of Big Productions, Chas Cantlon, this season was a dedication to his memory and his love for the arts and the youth that he dedicated his life’s work to.
The Big Productions committee is honored to be carrying on the tradition of bringing the largest rural performing arts series in Montana to the Mission Valley. We look forward to next season and are pleased to announce that we will be having five out of our seven concerts on a Friday or Saturday in hopes of bringing in more youth and young families. Shows will also be starting at 7 p.m. instead of 7:30 p.m.
Here is the line-up for the 2014-2015 season:
• The International String Trio – Tuesday, October 7 at Ronan Performing Arts Center.
• Halladay Quist and the Highliners - Friday, November 7 at Polson High School.
• Jonathan Kingham - Saturday, January 17 at Polson High School.
• Rebecca Folsom Duo - Saturday, February 14 at Ronan Performing Arts Center.
• CanadAfrica - Wednesday, February 25 at Ronan Performing Arts Center.
• Mud Bay Jugglers and the Tune Stanglers - Saturday, March 28 at Ronan Performing Arts Center.
• Alex Zerbe - Friday, April 10 at Polson High School.
