Good Old Days breakfast to be served at Center

ST. IGNATIUS — The annual Good Old Days breakfast will be held in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center on Saturday, July 19. The breakfast, with pancakes, sausages, eggs, and juice, will begin at 7 a.m. and run until 11 a.m. It has become a favorite time for former area residents and locals to gather, visit and renew ties.
Bingo will be played that afternoon from 2-4 p.m. Players must be 18 years of age or older. In the recent pinochle session, Bill Cordis won high, Shirley Cordis took low and Darlene Solomon won pinochle. Pinochle will be played in the center again on Monday, June 30, beginning at 7 p.m.
Activities for the rest of June are:
• Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
• Lunches begin at 12-noon.
• Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Wednesday, June 18: roast pork dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Friday, June 20: spaghetti lunch
• Tuesday, June 24: shepherd’s pie lunch
• Friday, June 27: beef stroganoff lunch
• Tuesday, July 1: pinochle, 7 p.m.
