Join the Brown Building yard sale
ARLEE — The Arlee Brown Building committee is sponsoring a community yard sale on June 17, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Table or space rent is $15 and spaces will be available in the Old Fire Hall and Brown Building. A Brown Building Happy Meal, which includes a choice of hamburger or hot dog, drink, cookie and chips will be available from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. for $5. Run for fun in Arlee
ARLEE — On Thursday, June 22, join the Fun Walk/Run 1-mile or 5K at the Arlee Celebration Grounds. The Walk/Runs start at 9 a.m. Registration Forms can be picked up and submitted at the St. Ignatius, Arlee, or Elmo Tribal Fitness Centers. Late registration takes place at 8:15 a.m. on June 22. The Fun Walk/Run is part of Tribal Health’s Being In A Good Way – Strengthening Our Families Celebration. Events will be occurring all weekend. Plan to join the fun.

Join the Sober Indian Riders’ Poker Run
ARLEE — The Sober Indian Riders will hold their 11th annual Poker Run on Saturday, June 24. The Poker Run promotes “Unity, Safety and Sobriety” through motorcycling. Registration takes place between 9-11 a.m. All vehicles are welcome and camping is available. There will be a barbecue, a raffle and a 50/50. Powwow begins Arlee
ARLEE — The 119th annual Arlee Powwow celebration begins Wednesday, June 28, and ends Tuesday, July 4. All events are open to the public and free of charge. Arts, crafts, stick games, dance competitions, Indian and other ethnic foods will be available. Absolutely no alcohol, firearms, unleashed dogs or motorcycles are allowed in the camp area. This year dance competition will expand to 31 categories. There will be separate style categories for adults age 40-59. Women and men 60 years and over will be competition categories of all styles combined. The event takes place on Powwow grounds on Powwow Road in Arlee. Wednesday is “Camp Day.
