Native style flutes, music on tap
CHARLO —Ninepipes Museum is honored that artists will exhibit their beautiful work in the Earl W. Wharton Memorial Gallery during the 2018 season. Nancy Vaughan’s terrific fry bread and Indian tacos will be available in conjunction with the artist receptions. David Weber, a crafter of Native American styles flutes, will bring not only his creations to exhibit at the Ninepipes’ gift shop, but provide entertainment as well. He designs, carves and crafts his flutes from a selection of more than 20 different exotic and tradition woods, birds and keys, and each piece receives careful attention to detail and tuning. Webb will perform several 15-minute concerts in the diorama room on Saturday – on the hour from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Visit with him in the museum gift shop from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. where flutes and CDs will be available for sale. Light refreshments will be served also. The gift shop will offer 10-35 percent off on select items over the Labor Day weekend. Call 406-644-3435 for information.
