Classes for caregivers through July 8
POLSON — Powerful Tools for Caregivers classes are scheduled in Polson and Ronan for six Tuesdays, June 3-July 8. The Polson class will be in the Community Bank meeting room 10-11:30 a.m. The Ronan class will be in the MSU Extension Office at the Ronan Community Center from 2-3:30 p.m. The class is sponsored by the Area VI Agency on Aging and Lake Co. Extension Service, to help caregivers take care of themselves, better understand their emotions, communicate more effectively, and find local resources. Celebrate the 4th with dancing

Aquatic Center celebrates anniversary
POLSON — The Mission Valley Aquatics Center will celebrate their anniversary with an ice cream social on Thursday, July 3, starting at 6 p.m. There will be open house tours, an ice cream social, bowl painting, kids’ games, live music and lots more. Library program holds drop egg contest
POLSON — North Lake County Public Library Family Summer Reading Program weekly activities are on Thursday at 10 a.m. for school age children accompanied by an adult. On July 3 there will be an egg drop contest.
Music played at Polson Bay Golf Course
POLSON — Polson Bay Golf Course presents Halladay Quist and The Highliners on Thursday, July 3, from 6-9 p.m. There’s limited seating, so come early to grab your spot on the lawn, golf cart or call ahead (406-883-8230) to reserve a table on the deck with a perfect view of Flathead Lake and the band. Celebrate with concert, fireworks in Polson
POLSON — Anderson Broadcasting will present a free Community Concert at 1 p.m. with Dark Horse Montana; Off In The Woods starts at 4 p.m., and The Mission Mountain Wood Band will start at 8 p.m. Community Fireworks Show will begin at 10:30 p.m. from the Polson Fairgrounds.
Library closes for holiday
POLSON — North Lake County Public Library will be closed on Friday and Saturday, July 4 and 5.
Parade begins at noon
POLSON —The Polson 4th of July parade begins at noon. The theme this year is “Parade of Stars”. A free ice cream social will be held following the parade, at the Flathead Historical Museum on Main Street. Contact the Polson Chamber at (406) 883-5969, for more information.
Run down Main Street for Fun Run
POLSON — The sixth annual Firecracker Fun Run will be held on Friday, July 4. The Polson 1 mile walk/run starts at 11:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Medical Center. Participants walk or run down Main Street in red, white and blue just prior to the 4th of July parade at noon. Cost is a non-perishable food item to be donated to Polson Loaves and Fish. Flathead Lake Cheese holds open house
POLSON — Flathead Lake Cheese is having an Open House Saturday, July 5, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be tours, tastings, sales and everything you ever wanted to know about cheese making and solar thermal heat. POLSON — The Polson Rural Fire District trustees monthly meeting is Wednesday, July 9, at 7 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Station. Port Polson Players present Amelia Earhart story July 10-20
POLSON — The Port Polson Players will present “Amelia Earhart, an Unsolved Mystery,” July 10-20 at Polson’s beautiful theatre on the Lake.
