Classes address diabetes, heart health
POLSON — Providence St. Joseph Hospital’s Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease Prevention program is a lifestyle change program that starts at 5 p.m. on Feb. 21. It is open to anyone at risk for type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. A referral from your provider and a prescreening is required. For more information call 406-883-8454.
Drivers’ safety course taught

Movie screened at the museum
POLSON — A screening of “The Sands of Iwo Jima,” starring John Wayne will take place at the Miracle of America Museum on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 6:30 p.m. This movie shows the day in 1945 that the U.S. Marines took Mt. Suribachi on the island of Iwo Jima.

Learn the Art of Zen Meditation
POLSON — Special montly Zen Meditation Classes are being offered at the YogaHeart Studio, 314 Main Street, on Wednesday, March 1, March 29 and May 3 at 7 p.m. Zen Priest Jerry Smyers will present the classes. Library holds winter reading program through March 19
POLSON — Keep the winter blues away by escaping with a good book (or seven). The North Lake County Public Library is holding a winter reading program for adults and teens. You can stop into the library beginning Wednesday, Dec. 21, to pick up your Bingo-style reading log or print it from our Facebook page. Successfully complete seven squares on your winter Bingo card and then cards will be entered into a drawing in April. The winter reading program will run from Dec. 21-March 19.
