Montana Nonprofit Association offers courses
POLSON — Montana’s vitality and livability depend on a thriving nonprofit sector. Movie about America shown at MOAM
POLSON — March 22, 6:30 p.m., at the Miracle of America Museum, “America - Imagine the world without her,” starring best selling author Dinesh D’Sousa, will be shown. Through fair and candid interviews with America’s critics, Dinesh brings us face to face with the brave heroes who built this great nation. Through reenactments of events in America’s history and interviews with leading historians, Dinesh brings us hope for the future. The film will be introduced in person by Academy Award winning producer, Gerald R. Molen. School history students are especially invited. Treats and donations are always welcome. Commissioner Barron to address Pachyderms about jail, courthouse
POLSON — County Commissioner Bill Barron will speak at the Pachyderm meeting March 23 about the possibility of a private party building the jail on private property to meet federal, state, county, and ACLU specifications. POLSON — Polson school district will hold Kindergarten Round-up events on Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29, at Cherry Valley Elementary School, 107 Eighth Ave. W. Purchase tickets for Easter basket fundraiser
POLSON — Providence St. Joseph Medical Center’s annual Easter Basket Fundraiser for Lake County Relay for Life has 13 baskets on display in the St. Joe’s lobby. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and available at the front desk. The drawings will be held on Thursday, March 29. All proceeds will be given to the American Cancer Society Lake County Relay for Life.

POLSON — Roast pork and fresh apple sauce are on the menu at the Fifth Friday dinner, March 30, at Polson Community Church, 1814 First Street E. Dinner will be served from 4:30–6:30 p.m. Desserts to treat your family and friends are also on the menu.

View variety of mediums at ‘Mixing It Up’ art show through April 6
POLSON — The Sandpiper Art and Gift Gallery, 306 Main Street, welcomes you to “Mixing It Up,” Feb. 27-April 6. This is a non-juried art show, open to all artists. Artistic interpretation of the theme in any medium will be accepted. There is a small entry fee for non-Sandpiper member artists. Visit the website for more information. Polson community dance planned
POLSON – Please come and support our Polson community dance from 7 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4 at the Elks on Main Street. Everyone is welcome. Dance to the Waltz, Two Step, Swing, Cha Cha, etc., with Ken’s Country Combo Band. Casual attire. Price is $5. Snacks are provided at break. Drinks are available at the bar. This would be a great time to get out and meet new friends, socialize with old ones and dance or listen to a good mix of classic country and a little '50s and '60s rock. Hope to see you there.
