Join computer class at library
POLSON — From 2-3 p.m. the North Lake County Library will conduct a “Computer Basics Class Part 4- ‘E-Mail’”. Please call the library or stop by the circulation desk to reserve your spot. You can bring your own device or borrow one of ours. This class is open and free to the public.

Receive help figuring out Medicare
POLSON — The Medicare 101 class is for anyone turning 65 this year. There are many decisions to make, deadlines to meet and penalties to avoid. The Area VI Agency on Aging is offering a class on Wednesday, March 27, from noon-1 p.m. at Providence St. Joseph. The fee for the class is $20 or less, determined on a sliding scale. Fifth Friday dinner served
POLSON – Polson Community Church, 1814 First Street E, will have their Fifth Friday night dinner on March 29 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. We will be serving chicken Parmesan, fancy green beans, tossed salad, dinner rolls and a wonderful array of desserts. Learn about Essiac tea and EFT, tapping
POLSON — Come join the “Glad To Be Here Project - One For The Kit Bag.” It’s the first of a handful of spring meetings for sharing some simple, inexpensive ways to help yourself and the ones you love. EFT will be taught by Anais Starr. She will introduce “Tapping” and how to do it along with giving Essiac tea information and samples. Combo plays for community dance
POLSON — Please join us for the community dance at the Elks on Main Street on Wednesday, April 3, from 7-10 p.m. Music is by Ken’s Country Combo playing a variety of country and vintage rock and roll. Ken’s Combo consists of Ken Kenmille (guitar, vocalist); Richard Tobel (lead guitar); Liz Steele (accordion); and our southern singer from North Carolina, Betty Carter. No Elks membership is required. The cover charge is $5. Come check us out.

Color with friends
POLSON — An adult coloring program entitled “Egg-Stra-Ordinary” will be held from 2-4 p.m. in the library’s meeting room. What a winter. You are invited to celebrate spring and color’s return with us. All coloring supplies are provided and you may also bring your own.
We also provide snacks and soothing music for a fun and relaxing session.
Hear the history of the theater on the lake
POLSON — Fresh off Port Polson Players Theater production of “Twelve Angry Men,” Neal and Karen Lewing will speak at Polson Kiwanis Club on Thursday, April 4, downstairs in the Koostatah room at the KwaTaqNuk Resort from noon-1 p.m. The Lewings will share stories of the history of the theater on the lake and performances over the years that included members of the community and several generations of youth from the area. The public is welcome to attend.
