Ash Wednesday service planned
POLSON — Polson Community Church, 1814 First Street E, will have an Ash Wednesday service on March 6 at 5 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Dance cancelled
POLSON — We are having to cancel our Wednesday, March 6, community dance due to the lack of musician availability and the extreme cold weather forecast. Sorry for the inconvenience of such short notice. Join retirement celebration
POLSON — Susan Brown is retiring as manager after many years of being associated with All In Stitches. Susan’s talents and knowledge will be greatly missed and we wish her the best. Join us for a “retirement” party on Thursday, March 7, from 4-7 p.m. at the shop.
Lewings to discuss PPP history
POLSON — The Polson Kiwanis Club will meet on March 7 at noon downstairs at KwaTaq-Nuk Resort. Speakers will be our famous Neil and Karen Lewing from the Port Polson Players. The Lewings will discuss their three-decade plus history of putting on plays in the beautiful theater on Flathead Lake. In particular, they will talk about Port Polson’s contribution to the youth in the area. Many young people have grown up with the program and some of their children (and grandchildren) have also performed. The public is welcome to attend.

POLSON — Polson Presbyterian Church will host the March Friendship Table Dinner on Friday, March 8, from 5–6:15 p.m. Polson Presbyterian Church is located across from Linderman School. Come join us. This dinner is free and open to all.
Sassy dames perform folk music
POLSON — Mission Valley Live presents Rosie and the Riveters, a fiercely talented group of sassy dames from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who perform uplifting folk music with a vintage 1940s flair. They will perform at Polson High School in the auditorium on Friday, March 8, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door, $13 in advance (available at First Interstate Bank and Perfect Shot Tavern in Polson and R & R Healthcare Solutions and Ronan True Value in Ronan). Youth 18 and under are free. College students with ID are $5.

Learn to crotchet
POLSON — The second in a series of four learn-to-crotchet sessions will take place from 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, in North Lake County Library’s small meeting room. The final sessions will take place on March 19 and 26 at the same time in the same location.

Library closes for staff development
POLSON — The North Lake County Library will be closed on Thursday, March 14, for a staff development day.

Spay-ghetti, no-balls dinner on tap
POLSON — Join friends and neighbors for a fundraiser to help offset the cost of Mission Valley Animal Shelter’s annual spays and neuters. Enjoy a spaghetti dinner from 5-9 p.m. at the Elks, 512 Main Street, for $20 each. There will also be a silent auction.
