POLSON — The Beautification Committee of Envision Polson invites you to nominate what you consider to be the “bloomin’ best” yards and gardens in our community. Nominate a business and/or a residence within the city limits of Polson by July 17, for recognition of their beautiful flower gardens. You can even nominate yourself. Cherry Festival to fill Polson streets
POLSON — The annual Polson Main Street Flathead Cherry Festival will take place on Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and on Sunday, July 19, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be fun for the whole family. Enjoy over 125 vendors; Flathead cherries; homemade cherry pies; unique arts and crafts; cherry pie eating, stem tying, and pit spitting contests; live music; sidewalk sales and specials. Experience history at Miracle of America Museum
POLSON — Mark your calendars for a fun-filled weekend called “Live History Days” at the Miracle of America Museum, 36094 Memory Lane, on July 18 and July 19. The “Country Combo” of fiddlers, pickers, singers and accordionists will provide listening and dancing entertainment on Saturday. Join the fun, sell your wares and be a part of history.

Library shows ‘Big Hero 6’
POLSON –– The North Lake County Library has purchased the license to show the Disney movie ‘Big Hero 6” at 10 a.m. Note there will be no teen writing club on this day.
Mariners host Western A Tournament
POLSON — Montana is host to the Western A Districts Tournament, which the Mission Valley Mariners will play in on July 23- 27, 2015. Come support and watch the Mariners play.
P.E.O brown bag held
POLSON — All P.E.O.s are invited to a Reciprocity Brown Bag Picnic Lunch to be held on Thursday, July 23, at Boettcher Park in Polson. The annual event begins at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. at the covered table picnic area at the park. Attendees are urged to bring guests along with their lunches and drinks. Dessert will be provided.
PPP present ‘Breakin’ Up is Hard to Do’ 7/23 through 8/9
POLSON – Port Polson Players will present “Breakin’ Up is Hard to Do,” a musical comedy with the music of Neil Sedaka. This fun presentation will last three weeks from July 23-Aug. 9. Flathead 3-on-3 proceeds go to community
POLSON — The 23rd annual Flathead Lake 3-on-3 tournament will be on Main Street on July 24, 25 and 26 with 300 teams. All proceeds are donated back to the community including $1,000 to Chamber Beautification.

Pig Roast on tap
POLSON — On July 24, area friends, MSU Alumni, families and Bobcat Boosters are invited to attend a pig roast at the home of Martin and Vicki Olsson, 37690 Cabin Creek Trail in Ronan. Refreshments will be at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. This event includes a “hosted bar,” a silent auction and a raffle. MSU coaches and staffs will be in attendance. POLSON – The MSU Scholarship Golf Scramble will be held Saturday, July 25. The golf scramble will be hosted at the Polson Bay Golf Club. Polson to hold bike auction
POLSON — The Polson Parks and Recreation Department will hold their annual bike auction on Saturday, July 25, at the City Shop located on the corner of First Street E. and Eleventh Ave. E. Other miscellaneous items will be auctioned as well. Bike preview time will start at 9:30 a.m. with the auction starting promptly at 10 a.m.
