Reception celebrates four artists’ work
POLSON – On Friday, Aug. 28, from 5-7 p.m., a reception for artists Susan Evans, Joe Girsch, Karla Martinsen and and Rachel Phelps will be held. The “Fire Within Us” exhibit will be featured from Aug. 22-Oct. 3. Susan Evans’ work includes mobiles and calligraphy, Joe Girsch will show his photography, Karla Martinsen will show her two-dimensional and three-dimensional paintings and Rachel Phelps will present her grass weaving. Borrow child life jacket at St. Joe’s
POLSON — This year Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is continuing to help keep kids safe while on the water by participating in the Boat US Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Program for Kids. Boaters may borrow a child’s life jacket for the day or the weekend at no charge.
