Enjoy a movie under the stars
POLSON — Watch an intergalactic, family-friendly movie and free food. Everyone is welcome. Swim during Water Daze
POLSON — The 14th Annual Water Daze 1-Mile Swim will take place on Saturday, Aug. 6. Swimmers begin at Salish Point and swim to Boettcher Park. Registration will open at 11 a.m. with a 1 p.m. start time. Swimmers will be provided transportation to KwaTaqNuk from Boettcher about 30 minutes prior to the start of the race. See you there.

POLSON — St. Joseph Medical Center will provide sports physicals on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 3:30-6 p.m. for $30 cash or check made out to St. Joseph Medical Center (no credit cards or insurance). All proceeds are donated back to the Polson athletics program. Physical forms are available on the Montana High School Association's website.

POLSON — The North Lake County Public Library District Board of Trustees will hold a budget hearing for presentation and review of the FY 2016-2017 budget at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18. The meeting will be held in the library meeting room located at 2 First Ave. E. Copies of the draft budget will be available at the library on Tuesday, Aug. 16, prior to the meeting.
