Elk Foundation banquet set
POLSON — Tickets are still available for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Big Game Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Best Western KwaTaqNuk Resort in Polson. Busy Guild meeting planned
RONAN — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will hold its regular meeting on Feb. 2 at the Terrace Lake Community Church. Refreshments will be served at 6 p.m. and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. We will be going over the 2016 Quilt Show’s theme “Black, White and a color of you choice.” Work on your 2016 guild challenge and mentor a child on quilting and make a quilt together for the 2016 show. Ninepipes holds winter Book Chat
RONAN — Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana is sponsoring a “Book Chat” at the Ronan Public Library, 203 Main Street, starting on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m. Donna Cheff and Michelle Fenger will lead a four-week discussion on the book “A Cup of Tears.” This book is about Polson icon Marie Johnson and should not be confused with the book “Three Cups of Tea.” With incredible determination, Marie escapes her very difficult life in Siberia to triumph in Montana. Discussion about the rest of the book will follow on consecutive Wednesdays: Feb. 10, 17, and 24.

RONAN — Mission Valley Live presents “Radio Static” who will perform on Feb. 5 at the Ronan Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. The trio from Missoula performs old-school '60s classic rock style music.
