RONAN — Mission Valley Rises: Democracy Engaged! is a local, non-partisan, community-led group, committed to exploring issues that affect our community. We have invited Svein Neuman, of Northern Plains Resource Council, to explain how his organization has been so effective in bringing together people with different points of view to find solutions that work for the community. He will also engage participants in a conversation about how we can be more effective as active citizens. Learn about women’s financial considerations
RONAN — Lake County Community Development is the site of the workshop, “Take Control of your Financial Future: Master Five Money Questions for Women.” The workshop is on Thursday, Jan. 18, at noon. Jacob Baumman from Edward Jones will discuss the different financial strategies women have from men. This workshop is brought to you by the Mission Valley Subnetwork of the Missoula Businesswoman’s Network.

Listen to Mediterranean music in Ronan
RONAN — Pavlo will provide Mediterranean music with a blend of Greek, Flamenco, and Latin flavor on Jan. 19 at the Ronan Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Tickets are $13 in advance or purchase for $15 at the door. College students are $5 and youth 18 years and under are free.
