MV Children’s Choir sings
RONAN — The final concert of the year for the Mission Valley Children’s Choir will be on Sunday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 406 Fifth Ave. SW. The concert is free. The choir is composed of 25 children, grades two to six, from Polson, Ronan, Charlo and Moiese. It is co-directed by Cathy Gillhouse and Pastor Seth Nelson and accompanied by Robyn Carlson. The children will sing multicultural, American folk, inspirational and pop songs.

Glacier Schools hosts spring fundraiser
RONAN — Glacier Lake School is hosting their spring fundraiser at the beautiful ‘Silver Knot’ venue, 35115 Timberlane Rd., in Ronan on Saturday, March 24 from 6-10 p.m. There will be a silent auction, local farm to table food, local beer and wine, music and dancing. There will also be a cash bar. Tickets are priced at $25 each and credit cards are accepted. GPS devices discussed at Horsemen meeting
RONAN — Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will hold their next monthly meeting on April 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW on Round Butte Rd. Our program for this month will be about three GPS tracking devices. Mack and Connie Long of Bob Marshall Wilderness Outfitters in Charlo will present this program. The devices are: In Reach by Garmin; a satellite phone; and SPOT. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. As always, the public is invited to attend.

In this free workshop, Jen Fredette, an experienced website developer, teaches you how to: identify your target market; create a customer profile; understand your buyer and customers' journey; differentiate yourself from competitors; develop and implement a cost-effective marketing strategy; generate publicity through public relations; and create contests and promotions. This event will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, at Lake County CDC, 407 Main Street.

Kindergarten Round Up held for Ronan schools
RONAN/PABLO — The Ronan and Pablo School District No. 30 annual Kindergarten Round Up pre-registration will be held at the Ronan Middle School on Tuesday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m.– 5:30 p.m. This registration will be for the upcoming 2018/2019 school year. To be eligible for kindergarten, a student must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 10, 2018. Parents are asked to bring the birth certificate, immunization records and certificate of Indian Blood for their child's registration. Please watch the paper for more information.
