RONAN — The Parents as Teachers Home Visiting Program invites you to attend our group connection at the Ronan Library on Wednesday, March 27, at 11 a.m. Mary Ann Ewert will lead us all in family yoga. Anyone with young children may participate in this free activity. No experience is necessary and you will not need a yoga mat. Packing light, topic for horsemen
RONAN — Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will hold their next monthly meeting on April 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW in Ronan. This month’s program will be all about taking dried foods into the backcountry, recipes, preparing them, etc. Going light in the backcountry with food is the main objective for this program plus good tasting, quality food. Scott and Bonnie Kiser are very experienced hikers and horsemen and will present the program. Come to our April meeting and get some great ideas for yourself and as always the public is invited. Quilters partake in potatoes
RONAN — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will hold their annual Potato Social on Tuesday, April 2, at 6 p.m. at the Terrace Lake Community Church. Feel free to invite a guest. Also remember your side dishes. The regular meeting will follow the meal. Remember your four fat quarters and any extra ribbon you have that can be used for the quilt show bookmarks.

Mission Mountain ladies league organizing
RONAN — The ladies' league of the Mission Mountain Golf Course will be holding an organizational meeting on Tuesday, April 16, at 6 p.m. Any ladies interested in joining a league team or perhaps subbing for a team are invited to attend. We will also hold a “Test Drive” fun night on Tuesday, April 30, for any Mission Valley lady who golfers are interested in trying out league play. Quintana to speak at Democrats’ meeting
RONAN — Lake County Democrats will hold their April meeting on Wednesday, April 17, at the Ronan Senior Center on Main Street. A social gathering will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the program to follow at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Jorge (George) Quintana, who represents Montana on the Democratic National Committee will give a DNC update with a review of 2018 and a preview of 2020, including their plan and changes in strategy for the 2020 election and the presidential debate process.

Free film screening offered
RONAN — A free screening of “A Montana Legacy: The Melton Buffalo Ranch 1948-1962,” a film produced by Caribou Crossing, a local media partnership, and co-directed by Frank Tyro and Larry (Joe) Darlington, will be shown on Thursday, April 18, at the Ronan Community Center small room at 6 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. DVDs of the 56-minute program will be available at the screenings.

‘Lamb of God’ returns
RONAN — “Lamb of God” is a sacred work by soloists, choir and orchestra to benefit the St. Ignatius Mission fresco restoration. This is a special Easter Eve performance at the Ronan Performing Arts Center. The performance is free but donations are welcomed. Performance begins at 7 p.m.

Help make community clean, beautiful April 24-28
RONAN — Ronan cleanup days begin on Wednesday, April 24. Meet at the Ronan High School football field where bags and gloves will be supplied for clean-up from 3:45-6 p.m. Ronan students will be pitching in. There will be a dumpster available from April 24-28 to put any collected trash into.
Do you have a large item or multiple items you need to dispose of but can’t get to the dumpster in town? Do you live within Ronan City Limits? If yes is your answer to both these questions, then we can help. Call Ronan Town Hall at 406-676-4231 to schedule a pick up. Please note, this is to assist with loading item(s) and not a clean-up crew to rake or pick up trash. Our volunteers are happy to help load what you need to get rid of but it must be accessible and ready to go. Please bag small items if possible. Pick up dates are between April 24-28. Lake County Sheriff and Ronan Police Department will be on hand for safety and traffic control.

Kindergarten Round Up on tap in Ronan
RONAN — Ronan School District No.30 is conducting their annual Kindergarten Round Up pre-registration for Ronan-Pablo residents. Registration continues to pre-enroll for both elementary schools for the upcoming 2019/2020 school year, but will be held at a new location: K. Wm.
