Run with color
RONAN —Ronan High School Student Council will hold their 5K Color Run on Saturday, April 29. The cost is $10 (5 and under are free) and includes sunglasses and a headband. Registration will start at noon and the race will begin at 1 p.m. You may walk or run the course. It will start and end at Ronan High School parking lot. There will be color-splashing stations throughout the course.

Horsemen discuss annual ‘steak ride’
RONAN — Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will hold their next monthly meeting on May 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW in Ronan. We will discuss our 36th annual steak ride that will take place on May 7, at the Meuli Ranch in Dayton. For ride tickets or details, call 406-676-0231 or 406-883- 5876. Quilters to meet, hold brown bag auction
RONAN — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will hold their regular meeting on Tuesday, May 2, at the Terrace Lake Community Church. If you have signed up for the appliqué class it will start at 4 p.m. and the meeting will follow at 6 p.m. with the Brown Bag auction during the meeting. Remember to bring your bagged items for the auction and any show and tell you might have. Everyone is welcome to come join us in the fun and don’t forget your four fat-quarters for the quilt show.

RONAN — Outreach pre-registration for the Women 4 Wellness Health Fair will take place at the Shepard’s Dinner at the Ronan Community Center on Tuesday, May 2, from 5-7 p.m.

RONAN — At 9 a.m. on May 6 meet at Ronan City Park for the annual Spring Cleaning event. Meet at the City Park and grab some coffee, gloves and trash bags to help cleanup the town. Mission Valley Heritage to meet
RONAN — The Mission Valley Heritage group will hold their monthly meeting on May 10 at 2 p.m. at the Ronan Senior Center. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Sitters for the Garden of the Rockies Museum are needed. Without them it won’t be able to open. Call 406-676-5454 if you can help. The museum opens on June 1 and closes again Sept. 1. Hours of operation are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

RONAN — In celebration of Armed Forces Day, The American Legion Post number 138 will hold their fourth annual fish and pancake breakfast. Join your friends and neighbors at the Ronan Senior Center from 7-11 a.m.

Enjoy RHS ‘Spring Fling’ performances, dinner
RONAN — Ronan High School will hold “Spring Fling Back to the Future,” where Doc and Marty guide you through 100 years of music performed by RHS Band, Choir and Drama at the Performing Arts Center on May 22 and May 23 at 7 p.m. These programs are fundraisers for the Performing Arts Programs. Performance tickets cost $5 per person or $20 for a family. The Technology Student Association and Future Health Professionals will host dinner both nights from 5:30-7 p.m. Monday’s dinner will be hamburgers, beans, chips and a drink. Tuesday’s dinner will be chicken kabobs, rice and a drink. The costs for dinner is $6 per person, $20 for a family of four (additional plates are $5.) All funds on dinner sales will be used for travel to competitions at the state and national levels.

Democrats hold fundraiser, rally for Quist
RONAN — Come to a Lake County Democratic Fundraiser and Rally for Rob Quist on Wednesday, May 24, at 5:30 p.m. This event will be held the night before the Special Election to replace Ryan Zinke. A delicious home cooked spaghetti dinner will be served. The cost is $25 per person. To get to the North Crow Clubhouse, turn off of Highway 93 onto Old Highway 93 and go east on North Crow Road for approximately 2 miles.
