Brown bag auction to highlight meeting
RONAN —The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will hold its regular meeting on May 3 at the Terrace Lake Community Church. There will be a brown bag auction also, so bring all those items you don’t use or want in a brown bag to be auctioned off. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. with the auction to follow. Kathy Kent, Carol Schliep, Marina Cheff and Terry Clairmont will provide refreshments. Don’t forget your show and tell items. Hope to see you there.
Horsemen discuss emergency evacuation
RONAN — Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen’s monthly meeting is on May 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW on Round Butte Road. Our program will be about emergency evacuation options with a question and answer period to follow. Come and see what this organization is all about.

Chamber to hear from LCCDC
RONAN — Ronan Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its general chamber lunch at Allentown Restaurant on Thursday, May 5, at noon. The speaker will be Gypsy Ray with LCCDC. Tickets available for annual luncheon
RONAN — The Lake County Council on Aging now has tickets available for this year’s Mother’s Day/Ladies Luncheon. The luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 7, from noon-2 p.m. at the Mission Valley Senior Center in Ronan. Tickets are $10 and can be picked up at the Lake County Council on Aging office at 528 Main Street SW in Ronan or call 406-676-2367 for reservations. Tickets are sold in advance only and must be purchased before May 2.

Ronan City cleans up with your help
RONAN — At 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, Ronan’s Annual Spring Cleaning will begin. Everyone’s welcome to join in cleaning up the town. Grab some coffee, gloves and trash bags at Ronan City Park. Disposal containers and a yard debris dumpsite will be available. Ronan City will pick up large items (no electronics) if you call to schedule at 406-676-4231.
