Kuillix chapter welcomes prospective members
ST. IGNATIUS —The Kuilix chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Mission Valley United Methodist Church, top of the hill north of St. Ignatius on Highway 93. Refreshments will be served at noon. Prospective members are welcome.

Water rights video on tap
ST. IGNATIUS — The Flathead Reservation Human Rights Coalition, Inc. will sponsor on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Mission Valley United Methodist Church, a potluck at 6 p.m. followed by the short video “Water Rights,” scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. The video will be a good learning experience for those seeking knowledge on Native American issues. ‘Iron Jawed Angels’ video shows how women got the vote
ST. IGNATIUS — On Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Mission Valley United Methodist Church, The Flathead Reservation Human Rights Coalition, Inc. will sponsor a potluck at 6 p.m. followed by the short video “Iron Jawed Angels—How women got the Vote,” scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. This video has some graphic scenes in it so it is recommended for teens+. SSC Halloween family event planned
ST. IGNATIUS — A SSC Halloween family event is planned for Oct. 30 between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. at the St. Ignatius High School Commons. There will be trick-or-treating in the high school, with refreshments and candy for the family along with fun Halloween crafts. A parent or guardian must accompany all children. Costumes are encouraged.
