‘Iron Jawed Angels’ video shows how women got the vote
ST. IGNATIUS — On Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Mission Valley United Methodist Church, The Flathead Reservation Human Rights Coalition, Inc. will sponsor a potluck at 6 p.m. followed by the short video “Iron Jawed Angels—How women got the Vote,” scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. This video has some graphic scenes in it so it is recommended for teens+. SSC Halloween family event planned
ST. IGNATIUS — A SSC Halloween family event is planned for Oct. 30 between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. at the St. Ignatius High School Commons. There will be trick-or-treating in the high school, with refreshments and candy for the family along with fun Halloween crafts. A parent or guardian must accompany all children. Costumes are encouraged.

Enjoy annual ‘Trunk or Treat’ party at UMC
ST. IGNATIUS — Mission Valley United Methodist Church on Post Creek hill is once again hosting their annual "Trunk or Treat" Halloween party. Come join us on Oct. 31st from 4-7 p.m. for "treats from trunks", chili, drinks and games. Come join us for lots of fun and treats in a safe environment.
Police hold haunted house
ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Police Department will hold a haunted house on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6-9 p.m. All funds raised will go to the reserve officer fund. To volunteer, call (406) 745-3881.
Zombie pictures available at Halloween party
ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius School Community Library will host “Meet a Zombie” on Halloween night, Oct. 31, from 5-7 p.m. We invite you to bring your kids and warm up with a snack and beverage. They can also get their picture made with our “Zombie” fresh from the cemetery for one night only. Don’t worry, we will have him caged for your safety.

Harvest dinner moves to United Methodist Church
ST. IGNATIUS — The fifth annual harvest dinner will be held Nov. 2, 2013. This is a combined effort hosted by Mission Valley United Methodist Church and Ronan Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
We will be serve the traditional turkey and ham dinner with all of the yummy fixings and it is a “donation-only dinner.” If you’ve attended before, you know it’s great; if you haven’t attended, come and join us for great food, lots of visiting and a wonderful ecumenical evening on Nov. 2, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. at the Mission Valley UM Church at the top of Post Creek Hill. Proceeds go to Mission Valley charitable causes.
