Communication workshops offered
ST. IGNATIUS — Free training is being offered in nonviolent communication for families, couples, teachers, work situations and law enforcement on Oct. 24 from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
The training will take place at SKC in the Camas Room.
Trainers are Patrick Marsolek and Aimee Ryan.
A light lunch will be provided.
You can pre-register by calling (406) 745-4259. Community participation of all ages is welcomed. Flathead Reservation Human Rights Coalition, Inc. sponsors this workshop with a grant from the Oleta “Pete” Smith Foundation.
A variety of credits are available.

Find treats at church’s parking lot
ST. IGNATIUS — The Mission Valley United Methodist Church is hosting “Trunk or Treat” on Oct. 31 from 4-6 p.m. at the church at the top of Post Creek Hill. Dress your cars. Bring your treats and especially your children.

Join annual Harvest Festival
ST. IGNATIUS — Mark your calendar for Nov. 1, for the annual Harvest dinner presented and served by Mission Valley United Methodist Church and Ronan Sacred Heart Catholic Parish. This year it will be located at Mission Valley UMC on Post Creek Hill and will be served from 4-7 p.m. We will be serving a traditional turkey and ham dinner with all the wonderful fixin’s. The cost will be donation only and all of the proceeds go to valley-wide charitable causes.

Program designed for ‘rockhounds’ on tap
ST. IGNATIUS — Mission Valley United Methodist Church’s Pursuits program for November is for you ‘rockhounds.’ “Rocks and Fossils” will be presented on Nov. 2, at 5:30 p.m. with a free supper of stone soup. Local rock hound Marilyn Tanner will present the program with Jack Sutphin. A dig will be provided for the kids. The church is located at the top of Post Creek Hill on Highway 93.
